Untracked, Wind-Packed, Icy Spots, Uncrowded, Windy, Snowy
Went to Jay this past Friday and couldn't really ski because all upper mountain lifts were closed for wind. That's the only trouble with this place. We went there because they had more new snow than anyone, but it's not much good if you can't ski. We hung out for 3 hours hoping to get some turns in but it wasn't happening. Thumbs up to Jay though for giving us a voucher. The new bar was a nice spot to wait also. |

Groomed, Tracked, Skied Off, Refrozen, Wind-Packed, Bullet-Proof, Icy Spots, Uncrowded, Windy
Good skiing for the first part of the day. Very cold and windy. All of this weeks snow has blown into the woods, so the skiing was best there. Groomers were skiing pretty well in the morning, but between the wind and getting skiied off it was very icy in the afternoon. Still worth the trip though. I'm sure they have more snow than anyone else after last weekends meltdown. 100% open. |
