Refrozen, Thin, Thin Spots, Icy Spots
Arrived mid day so trails were packed tight and icy. Crowds were worse in lodge than on trails but lines moved quickly for most of the day. I was somewhat disappointed that the conditions weren't better than they were with all the snow we got the weekend before. They groomed the slopes at about 6 pm and conditions improved significantly. Its shame they don't groom more frequently. |

Groomed, Deep, Uncrowded, Calm, Sunny
Conditions were excellent on Saturday. Snowmaking worked overtime during the previous week and delivered deep bases across the entire mountain. Groomers had the whole mountain covered in fresh corduroy. Plenty of features in the two terrain park areas on Tom's Treat and Stinger to keep the terrain park gurus happy. Great snow for carving, slopes were uncrowded, and the sunshine made it a wonderful bluebird day. |

Great day on the mountain - the first day of the New Year 2013! Enjoyed being with my friends and love being able to buy a Flex Ticket. I can use for any 8 hours since we got off to a late start. |
