0" 0" Hard Pack  reported: 02/13/2010 at 1:06 PM EST by D. Lightbown

Groomed, Wind-Packed, Thin Spots, Icy Spots, Bare Spots, Uncrowded, Calm, Sunny

Another great day at Mt. Jeff! There was a good mix of conditions. It was fast and really nice to ski on. The few chronic bare patches are still bare but everything else was wonderful. As always the atmosphere was warm and friendly. It is a really wonderful family skiing experience.

Groomed, Uncrowded, Windy, Snowy

The new snow has helped. There is a good packed base which made the skiing fast but the new snow was very slow and had drifted a bit which made for tricky skiing. "Fast-Slow" I would call it. Great fun never-the-less.
0" 12" Icy Granular  reported: 02/07/2010 at 2:50 AM EST by D. Lightbown

Groomed, Bullet-Proof, Bare Spots, Uncrowded, Windy, Sunny

Even though rain reduced the base the runs have been groomed. In the morning there were spots where it was like skiing on ice cubes but by the afternoon conditions had really improved making for a much better time. There are a couple of bare spots on one run but that is a chronic condition for that run. I'm going back again today so you know that it is still a great place to have some outdoor fun!

Groomed, Deep, Uncrowded, Calm, Sunny

I have NEVER (and I mean never) skied on any snow as wonderful as this was. Wow! It was beautiful out there. I just hope the rain that we had last night doesn't reduce the base too much because they don't have snow making. See you on the slopes.
8" 30" Powder  reported: 01/24/2010 at 3:36 AM EST by D. Lightbown

Groomed, Uncrowded, Sunny

Lots of powder! All slopes in great shape. All lifts and slopes open. So far this season I have never had to wait longer than 2 minutes for the lift. Usually there is NO WAIT at all!
0" 12" Packed Powder  reported: 01/21/2010 at 3:15 AM EST by Deb Lightbown

Groomed, Uncrowded, Calm, Flat Light

Conditions on Monday, January 18th were perfect! They've had even more snow now so it should be great there this weekend.
