Making Snow
Alpine Valley on Wednesday wasn't crowded at all. The conditions were icy because it was warm the day before. However, they were making snow on the one side, so those conditions were better. They had one of the terrain parks roped off, so hopefully that will be open now. |

Groomed, Refrozen, Icy Spots, Bare Spots
Alpine Valley is working on opening entire mountain. Only a few runs open but crowds were small till late afternoon. Conditions were fair. Hard packed and Icy but that is all you will get with current weather patterns. Seems like they should consider some discounts with the conditions and limited runs open. Best ski/snowboard in the Detroit Area. |
