Groomed, Wet Spots, Uncrowded
Skiied on Wed 3/13 after the rain and the trail conditions were great. Ungroomed trails were a bit choppy but groomed trails were nice packed powder. A few wet spots but overall good! |

Groomed, Deep, Uncrowded
Yesterday was a great day for skiing at BW, the snow conditions could not have been better! Snow was fresh, packed. Very few icy and bare spots. Very little waiting in line for the lift. |

Tracked, Skied Off, Thin Spots, Icy Spots, Crowded
unbelievably cold and big crowds. Few choice runs but a couple trails really shouldn't have been open (Granny's Grit) |

Groomed, Skied Off, Thin Spots, Uncrowded, Windy, Sunny, Making Snow
Great day considering the limited terrain! Bretton Woods is serious about snowmaking, they had the guns going when we arrived at 7:30 and they just laid down the powder on two trails lining the main lift all day (brettons wood and ben). What was open was in great condition with good coverage, unlike many other resorts (cranmore, attitash) that week. Upper swoop and sawyers swoop were great in the morning but skied off later in the day but still had great cover. Fabians express and upper-in-between were fantastic with early snowmaking as well. Mountain posted pick of the day Rangeview was great in the morning, skied off by two, incredibly crowded all day as it was the only trail open off the Zephyr Quad. Sadly they closed big ben at 3:30 ish to bring out the groomers, presumably for night skiing...which left many beginners stuck on long skied off sawyers swoop at the end of the day instead of a powdery run under the guns. Warning would have been nice for my little 5 yr old beginner |
