Groomed, Deep, Thin Spots, Uncrowded
For late March with the lack of snow this winter, I'd say conditions were pretty good yesterday at Gunstock. There were no waits for lifts, the attendants were super friendly and a great day was had by me and my two boys and a friend of theirs(8-11 years in age). They say they'll be open until 4/4. |

Groomed, Tracked, Refrozen, Uncrowded, Sunny
Night ski 4-9pm Tuesday gave us Loose and frozen granular snow. The sun and warm air made it worth getting out there though. The cheap ticket prices helped alot also, 2 for $25. I definitely got my 12.50 worth of skiing. Trails were all groomed out, but they need some snow to make a good spring skiing experience. |

Skied Tuesday night, 2/2. Frozen granular conditions. Expected it to be really icy, but it wasn't. Much better than expected and fast. A few spots had what looked like chopped up ice, so it was like skiing on marbles. The steep area on Phelps was like that and a corner on Derringer. Spent all night on Tiger. It was fun and fast. It was really much better than I thought it was going to be. Hope to be back this weekend! |

Beautiful conditions. The best I've seen there all season. Packed powder everywhere. Some crusty spots on the steeper areas, as can be expected. REALLY crowded. Biggest crowds were at the Panarama lift to the top. None of the other lifts were busy. |

Tracked, Deep, Uncrowded, Calm, Snowy, Making Snow
Skiied Tuesday night. Snowing the whole time. About a foot of powder on the trails. Snow had been piled up into humps on the trails, but it was very soft so easy to get through. The faster the run the higher the bumps. About 25 degrees out. GREAT night for skiing!! |

Pristine Powder reported: 01/18/2010 at 5:09 AM EST

Went skiing yesterday, Sunday 1/17. It was the busiest ski day there this season. Lines everywhere. Conditions were excellent. Sugar on snow display and well recieved. Cafeteria was overwhelmed and would recommend bringing your own lunch in future. Very pricey, Cannot buy just chicken - have to buy plates and each one is $8.25. Snow board park was great but wish the beginner trail didn't spill out to the sides of the park....Today should be excellent. Will go back but not on a weekend. |

Excellent night skiing last night. Not crowded. Snowmaking everywhere. Wind began coming up around 7 pm. Pistol was my favorite trail of the night. |

Groomed, Uncrowded, Calm, Sunny, Making Snow
Making snow everywhere when we arrived but as the temp increased they had to stop. Got up near 40. About 1/2 of the mountain is opened. What is opened has packed powder and is excellent skiing. Not crowded at all. We had a really fun time! |
