Tracked, Deep, Icy Spots, Uncrowded

Great Saturday afternoon. Started at noon but still found lots of untracked powder. It was heavy enough to cover the ice below. Some areas of 8-12" of fresh powder in a few off-trail areas, though the rocks were pretty close below

Groomed, Uncrowded, Windy, Sunny

For a low ticket price Monday, was surprised there were no crowds. Spent more time getting my lift ticket scanned than I did waiting in line. Did a couple of early morning runs before I had to do gatekeeping duties for the HS race, then did some more as time allowed at lunch and after the race. First runs were on perfect cordouroy. It was a bit cold, and at the summit very windy. A couple of icy spots on the race course. Overall a great day to ski!

Groomed, Icy Spots, Uncrowded, Calm, Flat Light

Skied here on Wednesday, Jan 13, 2010 and despite no new natural snow the conditions were better than a week ago. They do an excellent job of making snow and grooming. It was only 10 degrees throughout the day and that may have been responsible for no lift lines. Some icy spots did appear late in the day but with 2 for 1 pricing on Wednesday it was well worth the price.

Groomed, Icy Spots, Uncrowded, Flat Light, Making Snow

Skied on 1/6/09. Very good conditions as they received a substantial amount of snow on Sunday. No lift lines despite 2 for 1 pricing. Well groomed in the am. Flat light by 2 pm made seeing difficult. Some ice appeared in major intersections as snow was skied off in pm. They continued to make snow on several trails through out the day. Pretty good base and most trails were well covered.
