Groomed, Thin Spots, Icy Spots, Uncrowded
Without the crowds and owning the trails, the conditions were surprisingly great! Powder along the edges still made snowboarding a great time. No crowds provided lots and lots of runs. Love the trails, views, and good friendly people there to make it a great day!! Still time to grab some fun!! |

Spring Conditions reported: 03/28/2010 at 4:57 PM EST
by Carol Fairbank

Groomed, Tracked, Refrozen, Wind-Packed, Bullet-Proof, Deep, Icy Spots, Crowded, Windy
Powder & fine granular 'sugar' snow in the morning, except at the top of the express quad, which was a sheet of ice covered by a fine coating of powder - skiable but hard as nails. As the day progressed, the lowest part of the mountain went mushy and thick while conditions on the remainder of the mountain remained excellent - with just a few patches of ice. |

Untracked, Icy Spots, Bare Spots, Uncrowded, Calm, Sunny
I was amazed to find such awesome trails with NO lines and yet lots of people!! While there was little new snow, the conditions were fine with enough loose snow in areas to create some fun challenges. We hit the whole mountain> Since there were no lines meant lots of runs. Lots of opportunities to eat in several places. The lockers ($6.00) are however too expensive!! |

Wind-Packed
Windy bitter cold, super super hard wind pack. Don't know were all the snow went over
the weekend but it's not on the trails. South face was skiable if you could put up
with the wind. |
