0" 30" Hard Pack  reported: 12/30/2014 at 2:11 PM EST by Dad and Sons

Groomed, Bullet-Proof, Uncrowded, Calm, Sunny

Here on 12/30/14. Great coverage and conditions considering variable weather as of late. All runs open with great coverage and no ice - seriously! Very fast groomed hard pack but need way more natural for off piste (which Trollhaugen has if you know where to look). Only complaint was temps near 0 but that seemed to keeps the crowds away. Their loss as we had lots of fun.

Groomed

Skied here on 12/31/13. Extremely cold (0+/- degrees) but snow conditions were outstanding. Coverage was excellent all over. Hard pack with loose granular on top but absolutely no ice. Run of the day was Lee's Run finshing in The Chute. Lee's is one of nicest runs in the state -- a wide open bowl with a double break reminiscent of much larger areas that finishes with several options including The Chute, which is exactly what it sounds like. Very steep and narrow but, again, with no ice.

Groomed, Deep, Uncrowded, Calm

Skied here on 12/27/12. Snow was packed but, surprisingly, not at all icy. Everything was groomed so no bumps, but lots to do in the terrain parks.

Groomed, Sun-Baked, Thin Spots, Bare Spots, Uncrowded, Calm, Sunny

50 degree day riding in January made for spring like conditions. Snow was a little slow towards the end of the day after being baked by the sun all day. 100% groomed in the AM.
