Groomed, Refrozen, Bullet-Proof, Icy Spots, Uncrowded, Calm
Skied here on 2/6. After all the natural snow in the last week it was much icier than we had figured. They've made a lot of snow recently as well, so the whole hill was a thin layer of loose granular on top of hard pack and ice -- nothing soft about it. What little off piste they have was skied off or closed. Still don't understand why they wait until 5:00 to open Chair C since all the best runs are over there and there is no other way to get there. Makes no sense. |
